Last Post of 2009

Today I am drained. For too long now I have held my emotions in, and now I need to let go. I can't find words for what my heart feels looking back on this year, so I will leave you with a song that I keep listening to and letting the tears flow.

Desert Song by Hillsong

This is my prayer in the desert

When all that's within me feels dry

This is my prayer in my hunger and need

My God is the God who provides

And this is my prayer in the fire

In weakness or trial or pain

There is a faith proved of more worth than gold

So refine me Lord through the flame

I will bring praise, I will bring praise

No weapon formed against me shall remain

I will rejoice, I will declare

God is my victory and He is here

This is my prayer in the battle

When triumph is still on its way

I am a conqueror and co-heir with Christ

So firm on His promise I'll stand

I will bring praise, I will bring praise

No weapon formed against me shall remain

I will rejoice, I will declare

God is my victory and He is here

All of my life, in every season

You are still God

I have a reason to sing

I have a reason to worship

I will bring praise, I will bring praise

No weapon formed against me shall remain

I will rejoice, I will declare

God is my victory and He is here

And this is my prayer in the harvest

When favor and providence flow

I know I'm filled to be emptied again

The seed I've received I will sow

*Baby is just fine, so this doesn't have anything to do with him/her other than the worry that I won't talk about anymore. Quick update on that, I have a kidney infection and am on antibiotics for it. Doesn't seem to affect baby at all. Yesterday at the u/s they were moving so much that we couldn't listen to the hb but could see the heart beating. I am 11w today and will soon be in 2nd tri. I can't believe it
